I found this recipe on empressgin.com.
Empress Gin, lemon juice, simple syrup. Muddled herbs: rosemary, mint, thyme, basil
My last post was a gin & tonic made with Empress Gin, and the blue gin turned purple when mixed with tonic. I wanted to try a drink with citrus juice that would turn the gin pink, and I found this recipe (and a photo of a pink cocktail) on the Empress Gin website.
Well, mine is purple. 🤣 This is the second time my drinks end up a different color than everyone else (see my blue Aviation post), I wonder if it’s something about lemons in Texas? 🍋
Back to Windsor Garden. The color is still pretty, I’m really not disappointed. And I’ve never used this many muddled herbs in a drink, it’s delicious. All fresh from my garden, too! 🌿
