The Vesper was first mention (and invented) by James Bond author Ian Fleming. It first appeared in the book Casino Royale, and is named after the character Vesper Lynd.⁣

This deffo has a martini vibe – sort of a cross between a gin martini (which is so boozy that it’s kind of hard for me to drink) and a vodka martini (which doesn’t really taste like anything to me). It’s a nice halfway point between the two. The addition of a little bit of Lillet is brilliant. ⁣
