Sigh. My love/hate relationship with Fireball. If you believe their marketing, Fireball is the booze of choice for party-people at monster truck rallies. On their website, they offer cocktail recipes with names like “Angry Balls” and “Flamin’ Beaver”.

I am not their intended demographic. But I really like Fireball.

Firenog is a recipe from their website, which is why I have it in a shot glass. Because, of course. Fireball isn’t going to offer a holiday drink to sip while you’re being merry…they’re going to give you a recipe for how to get drunk quickly with a hint of holiday spirit. Oh, Fireball.

So, Firenog. It’s good! Even though it is in a shot glass, I sipped it. The Canadian whisky in Fireball is mellow enough that the flavor of the eggnog was present, and the cinnamon only enhanced the flavor of the ‘nog. My two favorites in this mini project so far are brandy and Fireball.

Tomorrow: bourbon!
