store-bought eggnog, dark rum, cinnamon garnish
I’ll keep this one short, because I explained this mini project in the Day 1 post. I used Gosling’s Black Seal Rum, which is a dark rum with a bit of coffee/smokiness to it.
It’s tasty, but the flavor of the rum overwhelms the eggnog flavor. It really just tastes like a creamy rum drink. So here on Day 2, I’d say I prefer the brandy, so far.

I used Southern Comfort brand eggnog from the grocery store (there is no Southern Comfort in it), and 1.5 oz booze to 4 oz eggnog. I stirred it over ice, then strained into the glass and sprinkled it with cinnamon.
