Another prohibition era drink…turns out the time we couldn’t legally drink in the US is responsible for some of the tastiest drinks! I have a theory here. Because the bathtub booze was SO BAD during prohibition, people had to get creative with making tasty drinks to cover up the terrible booze. Just my guess. The 1920s version of this drink used gin and grenadine instead of vodka and cran. ⁣

This is another delicious summer cooler. I like this better than Cape Cod…even though Cape Cods are delish, I like how the grapefruit juice cuts the sweetness of the cran a bit. I think this drink would also be good with a little soda to lighten it up a bit more, and for fizz. ⁣
