First, what a pretty color! This drink gave me the chance to make homemade pink lemonade for the first time, so I got to control the color, and I would make every drink this color of pink given the chance. (In my real life, I’m @verypinkknits.) Turns out, there is no big mystery to pink lemonade. It’s just tart lemonade with enough cranberry or raspberry juice to give it color. ⁣

I couldn’t find any history on this drink, just other names. I saw recipes that called this drink a Lemonade Margarita as well as “Mommy’s Lemonade”. 🤣 ⁣🍋

It’s delish, and a great tequila drink that isn’t a margarita. (As I always say, nothing against margaritas.) Also, I will add this cocktail to this list: Drinks I Will Make Up in a Big Pitcher for My Friends When We Can Meet Up Again. (That list is getting long.) ⁣
