Pimm’s Cup

I found this recipe on liquor.com.

Pimm’s No. 1 Cup, 7up, cucumber, mint, strawberry, lemon, orange⁣

The Pimm’s cup started as a health drink in 1840s London. In the same way the Kentucky Derby has the Mint Julep, the Wimbedon Tennis Tournaments has the Pimm’s Cup.⁣

Okay, this is officially the drink with the most garnishes. I didn’t even add all of them, because I didn’t see how I was going to fit an orange wheel on there with everything else. It is a fruit salad of garnishes.⁣

But I see why all of the garnishes are necessary. When you take a sip, you get the aroma of cucumber/mint/strawberry, which is really nice. And Pimm’s is…I’m having a hard time finding the words for the taste. A little bitter, a little herby. All said, it’s a great cocktail.⁣
