vodka, Kahlua, club soda
I found this recipe on liquor.com.
Simple, sweet cocktail for a Friday night. Easy to mix – just two ounces of each vodka and Kahlua, then soda to top. Mixed in the glass. No garnish is necessary, but these are normally sipped through a straw, so a straw can be the garnish.
This is a cocktail from the 1980s, and it has “disco drink” written all over it. A caffeinated buzz to keep you on the dance floor.
It’s very yummy, no doubt. I really like coffee liqueur. But it’s a little sweet for me. After I had made some room in the glass, I cut it with a little more soda. Now it is perfect. I suppose I could have had it right from the start if I had used a bigger glass. 🤪
The mint is from my chocolate mint plant…it REALLY smells and tastes like chocolate mint. Like an after-dinner Andes mint. The kind you get with your check at a restaurant.
