While we’re all still waiting to know the final results of the 2020 US Election 🇺🇸, I went in search of a Pennsylvania cocktail. (It’s funny…you can search for almost anything and find a cocktail named after what you’re looking for.) Liberty Bell sounded just right. ⁣

I thought I’d be cracking the champagne open by now, but this drink was a good second choice. I’ve said many times that I love a sweet bourbon drink, and the addition of Campari to this one adds nice bitter and herb flavors. I don’t think I’ve had bourbon and Campari together before, I get the idea that the bartender who invented this really put some thought into it. It’s unique and very good. It is also very boozy and going straight to my head. ⁣
