I found this recipe on liquor.com.
bourbon, ginger ale, bitters
Back in the 1890s, this was a non-alcoholic drink – everything but the bourbon. But by 1910, it was boozy. The long string of lemon peel is the “horse’s neck”. The goal is to get as long of a peel as you can, using the whole lemon.
Me – turns out, I love an icy icy bourbon drink. I really enjoyed the Mint Julep, and this one is a winner, too. A nice surprise after the last drink (Park Avenue) was so terrible that I dumped it out. 😝
