This drink was first mixed in the 1970s, and is named after The Godfather movie. If you swap out the scotch for vodka, it becomes a Godmother. If you swap out the scotch for cognac, it’s a Godchild. And if you stare at your own reflection while making one, it becomes a God Complex, or Narcissistic Personality Disorder. ⁣

My first taste of scotch! I like it. And I like this drink. It is a nice sipping drink the same way a Mint Julep is a nice, slightly sweet, iced drink to sip. The little bit of amaretto makes it go down very smoothly. And it’s just two ingredients and simple to make…I see more of these in my future.⁣
