It’s Fake Martini Week!

Boy, I learned so much with this cocktail. First, a “funfetti cake” is a white cake with rainbow sprinkles in the batter and in the frosting. Looks like the kind of cake I would like. In my research, I also found the same recipe called a “Cake Batter Martini”. I’d say that’s pretty far from a traditional gin martini.⁣ 😂

I also learned that there is CAKE FLAVORED VODKA. Not only cake, but sweet tea vodka, caramel vodka, prickly pear vodka, whipped cream vodka – tons of ’em! I knew about lemon vodka and, maybe grapefruit vodka, but I had no idea about all of these other flavors. Lucky for me, my local liquor store (with curbside pickup) sells minis of flavored vodkas, so I didn’t have to invest much to make these crazy fake martinis.⁣

So, this drink. It TOTALLY tastes like cake batter. For better or worse, it tastes like cake batter.⁣
