This is an old American cocktail, served at the Waldorf-Astoria prior to 1920. Strangely enough, it is unclear whether Charlie Chaplin liked this drink, or ever even tasted it. Ha. All we really know is that it is named after him.⁣

How very yummy! I had to use peach brandy in mine, as apricot brandy isn’t available at ANY local liquor store with curbside pickup. I’ll try it someday with apricot brandy, but I’m perfectly happy with peach. ⁣🍑
