“Boulevardier” loosely translates to “man about town”. It is a riff on the Negroni, a drink I’ve tried in the project already. (Spoiler alert, the history of the Negroni involves an Italian count who came to the US to be a cowboy.🤠)
This is a great cocktail. I think I might even like it better than a Negroni, and I really like Negronis. I think liquor.com describes it perfectly, “While the gin-based Negroni is crisp and bracing, the whiskey-based Boulevardier is rich and warming, the exact drink you want to reach for on a chilly fall or winter evening. “
