Irish cream, black rum, coffee
There are all kinds of coffee cocktails I want to try, but I don’t have Irish whisky in my bar yet, so I have to explore the less common ones first.
You can imagine, this is really tasty, but I’m confused as to when you’d want to drink it. There is a strong cup of coffee in there…do you want that in the evening when you’re winding down? And there is rum and Irish cream in there – not appropriate for the morning. I really only have a coffee drink after a dinner at a fancy restaurant, and I can’t even remember what it feels like to dine out at a fancy restaurant. Those pre-quarantine days.
Anyway, I had this lovely coffee cocktail, and I was both wound up on caffeine and dulled by the booze. Sort of a more energetic, but less smart and coordinated, version of myself. I suppose that is good for something. The dogs thought I was HILARIOUS.
