I avoided trying this drink during 80s Week, I avoided trying this drink during Fake Martini Week, but I broke down this week. The Appletini is by far the cocktail most recommended to me, so here we go.⁣

I can say this, it’s a good thing it’s pretty! My first sip was all AHHHH! SOUR! And then during my second and third sips I decided that it tastes like nothing. (Frequent problem for me with vodka drinks.) Then subsequent sips tasted artificial…what is in apple schnapps, anyway? Oh, don’t tell me. I’d rather not know. ⁣

It’s a shame. I seem to have a different palate than everyone who recommended Appletini as the best cocktail in the world! Now I have to figure out what to do with 750ml of apple schnapps.⁣
