Air Mail

I found this recipe on diffordsguide.com.

rum, sparkling wine, lime juice, honey syrup⁣

This drink first appeared in the 1930s, and is very similar to a French 75, but with rum instead of gin. The French 75 is named after a gun, because the drink will “knock you flat”…and this drink is named Air Mail because it’s the fastest way to get from Point A to Point B (as in from sober to tipsy). LOL!⁣ 🛩 ✉

Not as good as a French 75. Not bad – but rum, honey, and sparkling wine are just kind of weird together. Another weird thing…the recipe calls for a “column of ice”. Never seen that before, but I complied. ⁣
